And a whole lot of love filling every room. natural posing, everyone being present together, just life as it was on one of the most special days this family has ever had.

That’s the heart of lifestyle newborn photography, and it’s why I love it so much.
We moved through the home the way the morning naturally unfolded. Granddad settled in on the couch, taking turns holding the baby and soaking up every second. The toddler bounced between wanting to be right in the middle of it and doing their own thing entirely. Honestly, made for some of the sweetest frames of the whole session. Kids that age don’t perform for the camera, and that’s exactly the point.
Mom and dad had quiet moments too, just the four of them. A little pocket of stillness inside an otherwise full and joyful house.
Nobody had to hold a smile. We just documented the day as it was, the passing of the baby from arms to arms, the toddler climbing up to peek, the granddad and aunt looking like they could stay forever.
