The Mitchell family is so special to me. I just adored this Eastgate Park Session I had with them in April. As a Newnan Family photographer, it was such a special treat to travel to this family in Dothan, AL for Maddux’s and mommy’s portraits. The star of the show was; Maddux, an 8-month-old baby boy. The last time I saw him he was barely standing and now he wasn’t far from walking or running.
This park is great for individuals that love sports, families that have pets or families with kids that range in age. The park is soooo spacious! You can have a picnic, play pickleball, or take a walk on their 2-mile walking trail. We started our session near the dog park and then made our way near the pond to get some shade.
The outfits mom picked were fitting to the weather in Alabama during springtime. Being in the high 80 degrees, a light white cotton shirt paired with denim jeans for her, and overalls for the little man was ideal. My goal for this session was to have a relaxed, anything-goes, time while mom and Maddux played at the park.
